ConvoAlly for educators

Conferences, interviews, IEPs. The hard conversations of teaching.

Teacher candidates, administrators, special-ed coordinators, school counselors. ConvoAlly listens to the conversation and pulls the right framework — restorative practices, IEP language, district policy — in real time. So you stay focused on the student or family in front of you, not on remembering the right words.

What it sounds like, mid-call.

Teacher interview

"Tell me about a time you differentiated for a struggling student." ConvoAlly drafts a STAR answer from your portfolio uploads — actual lessons, actual student-progress data — not a generic textbook example.

Parent-teacher conference

Parent gets defensive about a behavior referral. ConvoAlly cues the restorative-practices framing your district uses + the specific data points from the student's record, in your voice.

IEP meeting

Speech therapist proposes a goal that conflicts with the parent's preference. ConvoAlly pulls the relevant FAPE language, the team's legal options, and a bridge phrase that holds both perspectives.

Student welfare conversation

A student discloses something serious. ConvoAlly cues the mandatory-reporter language, the next-step protocol from your district's policy, and a grounding line for the student.

What ConvoAlly does that a generic AI chatbot can't.

Your district's policy, instant recall

Upload your handbook, IEP templates, behavior intervention plan, code of conduct. ConvoAlly indexes everything and pulls the right clause when a parent or admin asks. No more flipping through binders mid-meeting.

STAR for classroom-based interviews

Practice and Live modes structure your stories around teaching artifacts you actually have — sample lesson plans, student work samples, assessment data — so your interview answers are concrete instead of abstract.

Tone calibration for tough conversations

Parent-teacher and IEP modes default to a calmer, slower-paced answer style with explicit empathy cues. Built for the conversations where being right is less important than being heard.

Practice for parents-night and back-to-school

Run a simulator where ConvoAlly plays a difficult parent generated from your district demographics. Rehearse without burning a real relationship.

FERPA-aware privacy

Zero-storage mode + PII masking. Student names and identifiers can be auto-redacted from transcripts and any cloud processing.

FAQ

Is using AI in a teacher interview ethical?

For prep, unambiguously yes — practicing with AI is standard now. For live interviews, check the district or program's policy. ConvoAlly's Companion Mode and Ear Mode are designed to be invisible to the interviewer, but disclosure is your call.

Does it work for IEP and 504 meetings?

Yes. The mode includes FAPE-aware language, common IEP team dynamics, and the bridge phrases that keep contentious meetings from breaking down. We do not provide legal advice on specific cases.

Can my whole school or district share one Brain?

Yes — the Teams plan shares policy docs and templates across staff while keeping individual conversations private to each teacher.

What about substitute teachers?

Substitutes are one of the highest-leverage use cases. A sub can run ConvoAlly with the teacher's lesson plan + behavior expectations loaded in 5 minutes. The classroom doesn't lose a day of learning.

Is it FERPA-compliant?

ConvoAlly's privacy controls (zero-storage, PII masking) are designed to support FERPA workflows. We do not currently sign a data-use agreement at the free tier; for districts requiring one, contact the team.
