ConvoAlly for legal

Statutes recalled. Precedents on tap. Client on the line.

Solo practitioners, in-house counsel, litigation associates, mediators. ConvoAlly listens to the call and pulls the right statute, the precedent, the contract clause, or the negotiation script from your own files — while the client is still mid-sentence.

What it sounds like, mid-call.

New-client intake

Caller describes a tangled situation. ConvoAlly classifies the matter type, flags conflict-check concerns, and surfaces the right intake questions in the order your firm uses them.

Deposition prep with a witness

Witness rehearses. ConvoAlly cues the line of questioning opposing counsel is most likely to take based on the case file, so practice covers what they will actually face.

Settlement negotiation

Opposing counsel anchors low. ConvoAlly pulls the comparable verdicts you uploaded + your client's authority cap, and drafts the counter-line in your voice in under two seconds.

Difficult client update

You need to tell a client the motion was denied. ConvoAlly cues the empathy-then-facts structure your senior partner uses, with the next-step language pre-staged.

What ConvoAlly does that a generic AI chatbot can't.

Your case files as the source

Upload pleadings, depositions, exhibits, statutes, and your firm's playbooks. ConvoAlly grounds every suggestion in YOUR materials, not random case law from a generic chatbot.

Privilege-aware privacy mode

Zero-storage transcripts, PII auto-masking, no third-party processing. Built so client conversations stay client conversations.

Negotiation pacing cues

Live talk/listen ratio. Most lawyers talk 70% on settlement calls — the data says the ones who hit 45% close more often. ConvoAlly nudges you when you cross the line.

Practice mode for new associates

Junior associates rehearse deps, intake calls, and client updates against simulated counterparties generated from your real case mix. Less "I learned by getting yelled at" training.

Post-call summary for billing

Every call ends with a timestamped summary + suggested time entry. Paste into Clio, MyCase, or a billing spreadsheet. No more end-of-week guesswork.

FAQ

Is this allowed under my bar's rules?

ConvoAlly is a recall and communication tool — you remain the licensed practitioner. Most bar associations explicitly allow AI tooling for research, drafting, and preparation. For live calls, check your jurisdiction's specific rules on real-time AI use; some require disclosure. We don't provide legal advice on that.

Does ConvoAlly retain attorney-client privileged content?

Run in zero-storage mode and transcripts are deleted at session end with no retention. For sensitive matters, BYOK lets you route inference through your own LLM provider account, removing us from the data path entirely.

Can it cite case law in real time?

It cites from your uploaded materials. ConvoAlly will not invent case citations the way generic chatbots sometimes do — if it cites a case, it's from a document you fed it. Authoritative current case law lookups still belong in Westlaw or Lexis.

Will the client/opposing counsel know I'm using it?

No. ConvoAlly is invisible on the call — no second voice, no notification, no shared screen footprint by default. The other party experiences a normal call.

Does it work for solo practitioners and small firms?

Especially. The Starter and Pro tiers are sized for solos. Teams plan is the right call once you have 3+ attorneys sharing a Brain.
